Sequential Factory Diagnostic Tree

Perform each diagnostic step in order. Disconnect electrical power and turn off utility shutoffs before inspecting wiring or internal mechanical assemblies.

Step 1: Physical & Electrical InspectionMultimeter & Visual
Action: Disconnect electrical power, allow oven to cool, and inspect door latch hook at top of oven door.
Bench Test: Check if door hook is mechanically bent or binding against door frame slot.
Expected Standard: Latch hook moves freely without rubbing against door frame.
If Failed / Out of Spec:

Straighten latch hook or replace latch motor assembly (316464300).

If Passed:

Proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: Physical & Electrical InspectionMultimeter & Visual
Action: Remove rear panel to access the motorized door lock assembly.
Bench Test: Test electrical resistance across the lock motor coil terminals.
Expected Standard: Normal motor coil resistance is 1,500 to 2,500 ohms (1.5k–2.5k Ω).
If Failed / Out of Spec:

Motor coil open (0L) or burned. Replace motorized door latch assembly (316464300).

If Passed:

Proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: Physical & Electrical InspectionMultimeter & Visual
Action: Inspect the two cam-operated microswitches on the lock motor frame.
Bench Test: Manually rotate cam wheel and measure continuity across both switches in locked and unlocked detents.
Expected Standard: Switches toggle cleanly from 0 ohms (closed) to infinity (open).
If Failed / Out of Spec:

Defective microswitch contact. Replace motorized door lock assembly (316464300).

If Passed:

Proceed to Step 4.

Step 4: Physical & Electrical InspectionMultimeter & Visual
Action: Test line AC voltage delivered from EOC board to lock motor during lock command.
Bench Test: Measure AC voltage delivered to motor terminals when clean or bake lock cycle is initiated.
Expected Standard: 120V AC delivered to motor.
If Failed / Out of Spec:

Replace electronic oven control clock board (316455410).

If Passed:

Clear error code and test complete self-clean latch cycle.
