Perform each diagnostic step in order. Disconnect electrical power and turn off utility shutoffs before inspecting wiring or internal mechanical assemblies.

Step 1: Physical & Electrical InspectionMultimeter & Visual

Action: Remove bottom dishrack, rotate cylindrical micro-filter counter-clockwise, and remove from the tub sump.

Bench Test: Inspect stainless micro-mesh screen under light for grease, bone fragments, calcium scale, or gelatinous detergent film.

Expected Standard: Mesh completely translucent; water flows freely through screen without pooling.

If Failed / Out of Spec:

Scrub filter with warm water and degreasing soap or replace filter assembly (00645038).

If Passed:

Proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: Physical & Electrical InspectionMultimeter & Visual

Action: Inspect the white plastic drain pump impeller cover locked into the left side of the sump basin.

Bench Test: Ensure impeller cover is completely clicked down and locked into position.

Expected Standard: Cover firmly seated; audible click on latch engagement.

If Failed / Out of Spec:

Reseat and lock drain pump cover (00611322) firmly.

If Passed:

Proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: Physical & Electrical InspectionMultimeter & Visual

Action: Inspect the drain pump impeller chamber with the cover removed.

Bench Test: Rotate the pump impeller with a gloved finger to check for seeds, glass shards, or plastic tags.

Expected Standard: Impeller spins with light magnetic resistance (springy feel) with zero binding.

If Failed / Out of Spec:

Clear foreign debris or replace drain pump (00631200).

If Passed:

Proceed to Step 4.

Step 4: Physical & Electrical InspectionMultimeter & Visual

Action: Inspect the corrugated drain hose connection under the kitchen sink.

Bench Test: Check drain hose high-loop elevation and inspect garbage disposal inlet barb for clogging.

Expected Standard: Hose loops higher than sink flood rim; zero blockage inside disposal barb.

If Failed / Out of Spec:

Clear disposal barb or re-route high loop hose (00668108).

If Passed:

Replace turbidity pressure sensor (00624323).
